“Data is everywhere” right? What information does it hide? How about one of our senses? From music to animals, objects to speech. How about ourselves? That inner code within you, your genes, also hides some beautiful insights.
With that in mind, on 25th of March @ Startup Braga, took place another DSPT Meetup. We started the evening with Ricardo Pinto from Kelvin Inc, he explains us how deep learning can help understand and distinguish sounds in everyday life.
On the second part of the event, Davide Carneiro from Polytechnic Institute of Porto show us the awesomeness that are the genetic algorithms and their inspiration on the natural mechanics of biological evolution.
