Data Science Portugal is an informal community of data science enthusiasts, created with the purpose of sharing knowledge and experience in the fields of Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
Since September 2016, the Data Science Portugal community is building synergies among data passionate people and bridging many cross-domain fields. Just take a look at a few figures, from the first meetup ever to March 2022.

Our Vision
Data Science Portugal aims to be the reference community in Portugal for Data Science and related domains. To become a networking platform for people and companies with interest in the area. An open forum for sharing knowledge, exchange experiences and discuss ideas. An informal environment where industry meets academia, professionals meet enthusiasts, experienced meet interested.
To fulfill this vision, we set ourselves to organize face-to-face events, such as frequent meetups in different cities, workshops for all experience levels and conferences with national scope; to manage and leverage knowledge sharing platforms like our site, our Slack and social networking groups; to have a positive impact in the Data Science environment in Portugal overall.
